‘North American Animals In Bark' is a series created in the field by photographing different tree species through hand-cut paper templates, looking to find the animal reflected in the world around them. I find each one through intuition and am inspired in part by this quote by Naturalist John Muir, "When we try to pick out anything by itself, we find it hitched to everything else in the Universe."
